Remembered

John and I have had a pretty incredible few weeks for different reasons. Johns parents came to visit us for a couple of days. We were able to go up and see the site were Johns Moms parents plane crashed in 1964.  In 2006 The Snow family went and put a plaque up there at the point of impact. below is a picture of John and his mom sitting by the plaque.

There was such a special feeling up there. even though it has been almost 50 years since the plane crashed there is an incredible amount of debris and pieces of the plane still there.

We are so glad we got to experience that with Hawley.

Happy Bad Picture of Cinco De Mayo

Friday in lew of Cinco De Mayo, We went to watch some dancers and a band play really cool mexican music. The drummer was seriously sweet. It was a cool scene, outside, next to a mexican restaurant. We just chilled and ate our Sushi- Yes, we went across the street and got sushi for Cinco de Mayo.. Retards. I only got one picture, and it is pretty much just of the sunshine.

Saturday, John spent the morning at the temple with the youth and then we worked our butts off on our backyard the rest of the day. Today we have 5 1/2 tons of rock and plant box dirt being delivered... Cant wait for the two of us to be outside shoveling all night! It will be worth it.

Sunday we went to our favorite park in Vegas, it is called Willows park. We havent been there in over a year so we spent most of the afternoon running around with Daisy. She has been sleeping ever since.

Night Out

We hit up Yard House at the Red Rock Casino last night.. We love the loud atomsphere, Sports Fanatics, & the yummy food! Can you stand how beautiful the grounds are? Maybe it is because John is in landscape, or the fact that we live in the desert, but I am much more appreciative of beautiful scenery these days!  The weather lately has been pristine! I can't get enough of being outside. When we got home I realized I was sporting only ONE diamond stud... Hot!

Rocks & Dog Poop

My Boy is putting in a patio for us, actually he is putting in a WHOLE new backyard! Our backyard resembles a  rock filled prison, with dog poop on the ground. So, we are adding more rock in to make it functional and beautiful. I cant wait until we put some plants in the box. have you ever smelled Jazmine?? I think that might be my most favorite smell like ever! I told John that he can just put 100 trees/ bushes/plants of that. My doors will never be closed again with that smell--- I can't STINKIN WAIT!

FIVE YEARS -O- MARRIAGE

John out did himself this year for our anniversary!! We spent the weekend at lake Las Vegas at the old Ritz Carlton.. Holy Crap it was absolutley BEAUTIFUL! I did not want to pack up and go home.

The grounds were absolutley incredible. They had a beach with a "clean" lake that mirrored the lake with the most amazing white sand that felt incredible on your feets. It was an amazing weekend spent with my one and only. I am the luckiest girl in the whole wide world! I am sure of it.

We have had one CRAZY summer! one for the books. I really should document it. but like I said, I was cooler in 2008.
